VetAI — AI Veterinary Assistant

VetAI ("we," "us," "our") provides an AI-powered veterinary assistant platform for tracking animal health, farm operations, and AI-assisted diagnostics ("the Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

3. Third-Party AI Processing

Important: When you use the AI Chat Assistant or AI Diagnostics feature, the text and/or images you submit are sent to a third-party AI provider (DeepSeek) for processing in order to generate a response. Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information unrelated to your animal's care in chat conversations. We do not control how the third-party AI provider retains or processes this data beyond what is disclosed in their own policies, and we encourage you to review DeepSeek's Privacy Policy as well.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

Service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, analytics, the AI provider noted above)
Legal authorities if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of users
A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (you will be notified)

5. Data Storage & Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
